We're aiming to raise over £100,000 for children with autism, heart impairments and cancer.
The Hearts & Minds Challenge 2010 is a cycling challenge that consists of riding 400 miles in 4 days from the most Southern point of Ireland, Mizen Head to its most Northern point, Malin Head.
You can do it! Whether you are a cycling fanatic, fancy yourself as a bit of a Lance Armstrong or just enjoy a long weekend amble on your bike, this event has been exclusively designed to cater for all abilities - whatever your speed, endurance or experience. We take care of everything so you can get to enjoy 400 miles over 4 days through one of the most beautiful cycling regions of Ireland, the picturesque West coast.
Each day you will be in the saddle for around 6-8 hours, covering an average of 100 miles a day, so padded shorts are a must! We guarantee the routes will keep you wanting more with challenging short sharp inclines, long energy sapping inclines, mixed with rewarding declines and plenty of opportunities to chill out and enjoy a chat. There will be scheduled breaks during each day and each evening we will be sampling the very best of Irish culture, finishing with a final celebratory evening party in Malin Head!!
We are asking you to participate in this challenging experience and make a difference to the lives of children with autism, heart impairments and cancer in Ireland and the UK.
Simply register for £99 and agree to raise a further minimum of £1150 and you'll be part of the Hearts & Minds Challenge 2010 Team.
